Image Processing with Cobots - Deep Learning
Learn how to use Deep Learning in combination with a cobot. Deep Learning gained a lot of popularity in recent years. The reason for this is that this technology can be used to easily implement complex or previously unfeasible image processing applications. Deep Learning is a neural network that can learn from the transferred image material. This makes it possible to realize a wide variety of tasks, such as localizing components, detecting defects on complex surfaces, reading difficult characters or classifying. In combination with a robot, multiple features all around an object can now be inspected.
The In-Sight D900 from Cognex is ideally suited for the interaction of a cobot with a camera. The special thing about the camera is that it is a smart camera that can perform deep learning in addition to conventional image processing tools.
