Scope of services:
Preparation of a risk assessment for a machine in the sense of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC:
Before a machine is placed on the market, it is necessary to carry out a risk assessment in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. This involves the basic safety and health requirements that apply to the machine. Within the assessment, appropriate measures are then taken to protect man and machine from risks and their effects. Schmachtl supports you in document creation in compliance with directives and confirms compliance with current directives and standards in the course of document creation.
2. Verification
Technical protective devices, when used in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1, must correspond to the specific required performance level for each individual safety function of the associated performance level.

3. Planning and design
1. Hardware Planning
Integrated planning facilitates ordering as well as the required submissions and labeling. Our technical specialists deal intensively with customer requirements in the first step and then plan and document electrical controls, networks, switch cabinets and installations of various sizes.
2. control cabinet construction
In addition to the extensive standard delivery program of switch cabinets and control elements, we also offer special solutions for specific requirements. The portfolio includes various types and sizes of equipment - from terminal and switch boxes to consoles in individual, contract and series production to project-specific, individual switchgear. We also handle the planning and construction of control cabinets for large-scale plants. Including the documentation we take over all services: Selection, procurement, planning, engineering and installation.

Single-unit production is just as possible as manufacturing in large quantities or contract manufacturing with and without provided material.
4. Program creation, visualization
Scope of services: creation of safety-related user software
More and more safety functions are being realized through the application programming of safety-related control systems. The requirements must thereby fulfill the current standard EN ISO 13849 for the software development of safety functions. An essential component of this standard is the adherence to a structured development process via the V-model. Dangerous systematic errors should thus be avoided in the safety-related application software for a machine. We support you in creating the safety functions by means of well thought-out software solutions.

7. Validation
1. Validation of documentation by analysis of customer documentation according to EN ISO 13849-2
It must be confirmed in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 that the design of the safety function corresponds to the specifications of the safety requirement of the machine. Deviations and errors are thus detected and prevented during implementation or realization. We ensure for you that functional safety is guaranteed.
